In an era of climate change and interconnected environmental, social, and economic challenges, we urgently need to transform the unsustainable practices that have led us to this point. What role can universities play in driving this change?

Join us for an engaging and interactive online event that explores how Una Europa universities are advancing societal impact for sustainability through research, education, and collaboration.

Secure your spot by 19 October.

Universities seek to create societal impact through research, education, and various forms of collaboration, aiming to advance sustainability and develop effective solutions to the interconnected sustainability challenges we face. Societal impact is long-term change shaped by multiple factors, including research, projects, and collaborations, where individual initiatives can have a greater influence than their size might suggest.

In this session, hosted by Una Europa’s academic Self-Steering Committee in Sustainability, you will learn about inspirational examples of the ways in which our partner universities strive to advance societal impact for sustainability. In small groups, you’ll have a chance to engage in discussions, share experiences, explore effective tools and approaches, and collaboratively brainstorm ideas for future initiatives within the Una Europa community.

Let’s come together to discover new ways to promote sustainability beyond the walls of academia, leveraging our academic expertise for society!
