The Una Europa Lifelong Learning Certificate "From Data to Decision: a non-technical course on data-driven decision making" open its doors to the public by presenting four morning seminars dedicated to learning and applying data science skills in specific market sectors such as agri-food and packaging.

All sessions will be delivered both in-person and online. The event locations for in-person participants is Complesso Belmeloro, via Andreatta 8, Bologna.

These morning sessions will be held by experts of public and private companies as well as by professors of the Una Europa alliance. The sessions will be focused on data science applied in market sectors such as those of Agri-Food and Packaging, which are are characterised by a high level of specialisation and are both important economic engines for the Emilia Romagna region in Italy. In this region, a great number of food products bear the prestigious PDO (protected designation of origin) and PGI (protected geographical indication) labels which are exported all over the world.

The Emilia-Romagna companies involved in these sectors cover the whole “from farm to fork” value chain: starting from the farmed produce all the way to the consumers’ plates, it includes ICT systems, equipment and machineries, transformation and packaging plants, logistics and food by-products and waste valorisation.

See the image below (or download it from the attachments) for the complete programme open to the public and register using the registration forms above. You can register to all sessions or you can choose the one(s) you prefer.

Please note: If you register online, you will receive the link to join the seminar a few days before the event via email and on this page on the day of the event.
