Calling all Una Europa university students!

On February 24th, Una Europa will host the very first Student Congress, bringing together students from eight different European universities to collaborate and actively shape the idea of a European university of the future. By attending, you will learn more about Una Europa and its offerings, network and exchange ideas with international students, and discover how to compete for the chance to win the highly coveted and exciting Una Europa Prize.

Register in the link above to save yourself a spot!

The first Una Europa Student Congress aims to encourage students to help build a Una Europa student community and actively shape the idea of a European University of the Future, but we need your help. How we can make the university a more accessible, more diverse, and more sustainable place? By attending the Student Congress, you will be actively involved in Una Europa’s goal to build a University of the future with a truly European Campus that spans across eight different universities with joint study programmes, plenty of opportunities for student mobility, and much more.

The half-day event will include multiple interactive sessions, including a World Café where you can voice your opinion on important topics that will affect future Una students, such as the upcoming joint degree programmes and affordability abroad. These sessions will help you discover the many benefits of Una Europa and what it can offer you.

Besides having your voice heard, check out these other great reasons to attend:

  • Get to know others students from Berlin, Bologna, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Krakow, Leuven, Madrid, and Paris
  • Meet other students and learn more about their fields of study and their universities
  • Exchange ideas, share views and discuss your opinions in workshops or during lunch break
  • Create long-term connections through shared student initiatives
  • Interact with Una Europa staff: be curious and ask questions
  • Learn more about Una Europa’s focus areas: Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, European Studies, Cultural Heritage, Sustainability, and One Health
  • Find out how cutting-edge research will be part of your study programs in the future
  • Practice your English and learn about the diversity of European languages (Finnish, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish)

Participating in the Student Congress and getting involved in the Una Europa student community is also a great way to make important connections and boost your CV.

And for all those sporting folk, who doesn’t love a good old competition? Without giving away too many spoilers, come to learn about the University of the Future video competition, and the exciting Una Europa Prize for the student winner(s).

We would love to see you there, don’t forget to register your attendance in the link. Note that the registration is handled by colleagues at FU Berlin.

The Una Europa Student Congress is part of the community-building initiatives under 1Europe.
