Join us on 22 November to find out how the Horizon 2020-funded Una.Resin project has lit the fuse for Una Europa's R&I potential.

Delve into the Una.Resin project outputs igniting Una Europa's R&I revolution and explore how we can work together to coax the fire of our shared R&I ecosystem, ensuring we light the way for many years to come.

Indicative programme

  1. Una.Resin Spark Salon Inspired by the coffee houses of Enlightenment-era Edinburgh, Spark Salon invites you to meet, exchange and debate with Europe's visionaries for R&I in higher education.
  2. Lightning Talks Catch the sparks ignited by our Una.Resin project with insights from the colleagues laying the kindling for our shared R&I ecosystem.
  3. Coaxing the Flame Roundtable Discussion The spark is lit and the flame is building! But how do we ensure our fire continues to light the way? Join us to coax the flame with an illuminating discussion between senior leadership and academics from across the Una Europa partner universities and European Commission and stakeholder representatives committed to excellence in R&I. Confirmed speakers include:
  4. - David González Martínez, Science & Innovation Councillor and representative of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU
  5. - Manuel Aleixo, Head of Unit ERA, Spreading Excellence and Research Careers, Directorate-General for Research & Innovation, European Commission
  6. - Olli Peltoniemi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at Helsingin yliopisto/Helsinfors universitet and member of the Una Europa Self-Steering Committee in One Health
  7. Our distinguished panel will also be joined by a member of the Una Europa Research Strategy Group, which is composed of Vice-Rectors Research from all 11 Una Europa partner universities.
