Photography Competition - 2nd Una Europa Student Congress

The aim of this competition was to showcase the character and particularities of the eight Una Europa campuses as seen by their students. The competition was open to all students of the member universities of Una Europa and the theme was the campus of your university, from any point of view. All photographs must have been taken in 2021.

Each participant could submit a maximum of three photos, which had to be original and unpublished and not have been submitted previously in other competitions. Prior to submitting a photograph of any identifiable person, entrants must have had their consent and inform those persons that they are submitting their image to this competition.

The winners of the competition were announced at the Closing Session of the 2nd Una Europa Student Congress, which took place on 21 October at 12:00 (CEST). The winners are:

First prize winner Karolina Jarosik received a Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic camera and a pack of 40 Photo films, and the five special mentions from the jury received a pack consisting of a breakfast mug and an Una Europa hoody.

Winners were chosen by a panel formed by two members of the Communications team and two Operational Leaders of Una Europa, who took into account the criteria of creativity, originality and technical quality. Aspects or details that conveyed meanings or perceptions related to the experience of being a university student were be positively valued.
