Una Europa-Unite! Sustainable Energy Matchmaking Event
Una Europa is teaming up with Unite! – the University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering – to connect researchers with common interests together to facilitate collaboration on sustainable energy-related Horizon Europe topics.
Join us for an online pre-matchmaking session on 19 January 2023, followed by an in-person meeting in Brussels on 30 and 31 January 2023.
About the event
Researchers with an interest in the following Horizon Europe topics from Work Programme Climate, Energy and Mobility are invited to participate:
- Advanced sustainable and safe pre-processing technologies for End-of-Life (EoL) battery recycling;
- Development of technical and business solutions to optimise the circularity, resilience, and sustainability of the European battery value chain;
- Emerging energy technologies for a climate-neutral Europe;
- Post-Li-ion technologies and relevant manufacturing techniques for mobility applications;
- Development of near-zero-emission biomass heat and/or CHP including carbon capture;
- Innovative components and configurations for heat pumps;
- Development of next-generation advanced biofuel technologies;
- Improvement of light harvesting and carbon fixation with synthetic biology and/or bio-inspired//biomimetic pathways for renewable direct solar fuels production;
- Innovative applications/integration of geothermal heating and cooling in industry;
- Development of smart concepts of integrated energy-driven bio-refineries for co-production of advanced biofuels, bio-chemicals and biomaterials;
- Design for adaptability, re-use and deconstruction of buildings, in line with the principles of circular economy.
Virtual meeting, 19 January (10:00 - 12.30 CET): This meeting will give you an overview of the topic you will be working on and an opportunity to engage with other participants with similar research interests to you.
In-person workshop, 30 & 31 January 2023 (midday to midday CET): This workshop will provide you with tips and tricks on how to tackle a Horizon Europe project proposal and an opportunity for a first get-together with your potential project partner.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer financial support to attend the workshop in Brussels.
