Seed Funding Stories: Una Europa Chairs 2023

Features -

In spring 2023, five senior academics from Una Europa universities embarked on visiting professorships with a twist. Alessandro Seguino, María García Hernández, Jan Wouters, Filippo Fontanelli and Carsten Momsen travelled across our alliance to bring innovative new teaching and research activities to life.

From enhancing our educational offering and providing dynamic learning experiences for students and doctoral researchers to deepening collaborative research ties between our universities, the Una Europa Seed Funding Chairs used their expertise to consolidate our Focus Areas and deepen collaborative ties between our universities. Although their visiting professorships have ended, the collaboration continues, building on the energy and enthusiasm sparked by their visiting professorships to develop new innovations in the future.

As our eleven partner institutions are so large and diverse, there is still an enormous amount of untapped potential.
