As part of the Una Europa Staff Week on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna will host a public lecture dedicated to the topics of human rights and academic freedom.

After an introduction given by Professor Campaner, Vice Rector for International Relations, Professor Elena Luppi will address the topic of institutional diversity and its management. Afterwards, Professor Rita Monticelli, Full Professor at the University of Bologna, expert in gender studies, culture of equality, and issues concerning the promotion of gender equality and inclusion, will give a speech.

The lecture is part of a wider Open Conference programme delivered as part of the Una Europa Staff Week. All sessions will be streamed online.

About the Open Conference

The Open Conference is an event addressed to university communities and society at large to give an understanding on what the European University Alliances are and the European values they intend to promote.

In particular, the Open Conference mainly focuses on three themes, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which constitute the cross-cutting key points of the European University Alliances’ strategies.

This lecture is delivered as part of the Una Europa Staff Week and forms part of our outreach activities initiated under the Una.Futura project.
