- Student enrollment is possible, depending on a student’s prior knowledge, either for single modules or as degree-seeking students in higher semesters / to start in the winter term. Financial aid is made possible through the mechanisms available for students city-wide.

- Students who want to come study at KU Leuven can either enroll at KU Leuven (given that they meet all relevant conditions, but contingencies are worked out for missing documents, etc. and deadlines are flexible) or take part in a program of minimal registration where they are matched with a relevant faculty and are given an academic offer by the faculty, not leading to credits. For those who do not speak sufficient English, language courses are made available.

Several actions by Vice-Rectorate for Students and Diversity and Inclusion Unit
- In the short term, support for refugees already established in Spain: Short Spanish courses through the Complutense Language Centre and other actions, as psychological support.
- In the medium term, support for the continuation of studies at UCM for students who were enrolled in Ukrainian universities.
- In the slightly longer term, support for those who want to study at UCM for the next academic year, by doing a Foundation Course of immersion in Spanish.
Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
Ukrainian students in exile in France can apply to all degrees at university Paris 1, including those in French and in English (see list).
Those with notions of French can apply to the special degree diplôme d'université Passerelle d’Étudiants en Exile so as to benefit of year of French as a foreign language course.
Two outsourced courses in Romania and Bulgaria (in French) open up special places for Ukrainian students in these countries: in Sofia - Bulgaria, the Master's in International Transport (ESFAM), and in Bucharest, Romania, the Master of Law (Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain). These degrees will be accompanied by housing aids and scholarships, thanks to the help of Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie.
